Wax in Motion

I am very honored to be one the sixteen artists chosen to be part of "Wax in Motion" at Bowersock Gallery in Provincetown, Mass. This exhibit runs concurrently with the International Encaustic Conference, where I will also be demonstrating and teaching. Both these events are taking place in June. For more information, please check out the links to the gallery and conference. There will be much to report in the upcoming week, so stay tuned. Here are the two works that were selected for the show, which are part of my new body of work "Forces."

MICROCOSM/MACROCOSM?-a fantastic voyage

Friday May 6th was the night of my reception for "Microcosm/Macrocosm?- a fantastic voyage" at Galatea Fine Art-460B Harrison Ave, Boston, Mass. Here are some images of the show before the reception. The space is intimate and I had ten paintings in the show. It was a beautiful evening and it was so nice to see so many fellow artists and friends. Check out Nancy Natale's blog post about all the other events happening on the First Friday of May in the South End. I will also be doing an Artist's Talk on May 22 starting at 2 PM. Next Sunday the 15th is the SOWA Art Walk. This is an exciting event where most of the galleries and studios are open, along with the open markets. I will be in the gallery all day. For more information about the paintings in the show, check out my website www.artgw.com
